Rome

Rome, Georgia is located in Northwest Georgia among the rolling hills and flowing rivers. It is the largest town in Northwest Georgia.

The heart of Rome is its historic downtown district located Between The Rivers. There you will find Broad Street hopping with restaurants, unique shops, and boutiques. Just behind Broad Street, you can find the largest Victorian Era neighborhood in Georgia. In the Downtown area, you will find a thriving art district with many opportunities to engage in different styles of art and theatre.

Rome is blessed with beautiful outdoor areas that offer plenty of opportunities for activities and recreation. You can kayak, canoe, or tube down one of the three rivers flowing through Rome. The views of the hills surrounding Rome from the river are breathtaking. Rome is also home to the Rome Braves, a minor league baseball team. Rome also boasts a large tennis center where teams come from all over to participate in tournaments.

Education is a high priority in Rome, with five public school districts, four private schools, and four colleges. Rome is home to the beautiful Berry College. Berry College has been named one of the most beautiful campuses in the world and, at 27,000 acres, is the largest campus in the world.
