Silver Creek

Silver Creek is a community nestled between Rome and Rockmart, Georgia, and is one of many areas that make up Floyd County. It has rolling hills and beautiful country roads. With Highway 101 running through Silver Creek, it has quick access to all the conveniences of its neighboring towns.

Silver Creek is unincorporated, but you will find all the resources you need by way of a pharmacy, a Post Office, a fire station, a mini-market for your basic supplies, a Mexican Restaurant, and a couple of gas stations. Silver Creek has a park and recreation area where you will find basketball courts, softball fields, tennis courts, a playground, and picnic areas.

The Silver Creek community is named after the creek that flows through it with the same name. Silver Creek was named because of the silver mining that was in the area. The creek is a source of summertime fun for all ages. Its icy cold water is a great relief on hot Georgia days.

Silver Creek is a long-standing community intertwined with its neighboring community of Lindale, Georgia, which hosts year-round celebrations and activities that include Silver Creek and its residents.
