Lindale, Georgia is a small community with a simple history and a strong sense of community. Lindale is located just outside of Rome, Georgia, in an area that, at one time, was a thriving mill community. It has undergone many changes over the years and is still changing thanks to people that love the community. 

The Pepperell Mill in Lindale was once the center of the community. For many years it thrived as a common thread connecting everyone in the area. The mill closed in 2001. Since then, the community has seen change and has rallied together to keep the heart of the community active.

Whether you are at the local diner, the hardware store, the grocery store, a Friday night ballgame, or the park, you can feel the resident’s love for their community wherever you go. 

Lindale has an exceptional recreation center, The Gilbreath Center. It has a walking track, basketball court, tennis courts, baseball fields, a gymnasium with a community center, football practice fields, a picnic area, and a playground. It also has a creek that runs through it. It has met the needs of the community for over 20 years. It sits in the middle of Lindale and is easily accessed. 

Every year there is a Fourth of July Celebration with a parade and craft fair. You can attend the homecoming parade for Pepperell High School in the fall, where the whole town shows up for the parade and bonfire. Lindale also has a Christmas parade and festival that is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. 

Lindale is just a few miles from the central shopping district in Rome, Georgia, and is just minutes from Cedartown, Georgia.
